Almost identical to Japanese wakame . High in calcium, B vitamins and many trace elements. Vitamin C content highest in late spring and vitamin K highest in late spring. High in B12 in late winter & early spring. Atlantic wakame has a more delicate taste than the cultivated Japanese wakame. Excellent in miso soup, rich vegetable soups and stews. Available dried whole or dried milled.
